I don't have the book, but I believe I read it a long time about when I was about 15 years old I've been trying to find the book again for a while now because I believe there was a story in there about this family of people/creatures who you can only see from the corner of your eye or something. I have been trying to find what that story was called and who wrote it but with no luck ...

Re: Book Hauls!

Justed ordered the following:

House of Chains -- Steven Erikson
Midnight Tides -- Steven Erikson

Had to order it from Amazon.com rather than Amazon.co.uk because the covers on the books that I already have are from America. But it's only cost me about the same amount of two normal books from a book shop to get them shipped here. And I do like to have matching books.

Re: Book Hauls!

I went back to the library and their sale today. I got Beyond Heaven's River by Greg Bear and Silver Pigs by Lindsey Davies.

That's 12 books I've bought from the library sale so far.

To quote a famous action hero "I'll be back!"

Re: Book Hauls!

Meowrr GOLLUM Now you'll have to visit again.

Am done with Chaosium's The Necronomicon and I have to agree with JD that it's a dangerous thing indeed to walk out your front door on a jaunt with Robert M Price. Even when he's obviously having a bit of fun, it's a fascinating read. And he has this nasty little habit of dropping names and titles in his forewords that I then really have to search out and read as well.

Started this morning on The Complete Stories of Robert Bloch Volume 2 - Bitter Ends. Suffice to say that sleep was abandoned and I was almost late to work. About half-way through and it's fascinating thus far.
