| Re: Book Hauls! Planet of Adventure (Omnibus) - Jack Vance The Mammoth Book of Future Cops edited by Maxim Jakubowski and M. Christian, bought it mostly caust it contains A Scanner Darkly by PKD The Man with The Getaway Face - Richard Stark Die Trying - Lee Child Sacred - Dennis Lehane Knights of Dark Renown - David Gemmell Planet of Adventure i didnt even know that series existed even the minute before i saw it on the shelf. Bought it cause i saw the blurb started with :Stranded on the distant planet Tschai, young Adam Reith..., that plus Jack Vance's name was enough for My last Jack Vance story was Emphiriyo which i loved from the start to the finish. I thought it would be great to read another mostly SF like JV story again. |
