Re: What does your avatar mean? I like your user title FelineEyes ![]() My username was something I formed a few years ago now (gee I'm getting old ). At the time I really felt like the colour blue suited my personality (not in terms of "got the blues" by the way, I was angsty but not that angsty ) and Mythril was sort of like a metaphorical ideal for who I wanted to be: Silver and pretty, but stronger than any other known metal, and it had the advantage of being light so it wouldn't weigh you down. (I'm sure I'm going to cop some jokes from The Master™for that last part *sigh*)Plus it sounds pretty. If it wasn't for the fact she'd be picked on at school I'd name my first daughter Mythril.

Re: What does your avatar mean? Wonderwoman... because that's what every mother is, and also my fav super heroine when I was a kid. My name, Alia, came from the Kate Elliott books I love so much. Kate's forum was the first forum I ever joined so I had to come up with a name. The first character in her books that I first loved was a Aoi (Elf like person) named Alia, so I used that name on her site. The name stuck and is with me here as well (my second and only other forum I'm on). But my avatar might change again... depends upon the mood.

Re: What does your avatar mean? Great choice, Ivy, and great taste in high-tech. Mine is a proof of resilience, power and life. You believe it ? You're wrong. It's just an illustration of my famous temper. Rub me the wrong way and I'd explode as a nova aimed at you... And don't tell me to follow angst management. With the right target, anger is a wonderful tool to overcome most troubles you can have in life.

Re: What does your avatar mean? My first avatar here, it probably wont last long but I'm in a bit of a retro mood at the moment after posting a bit about old cartoons and games, so it's from one of my all time favourite games. As for the name, a quokka is a type of small wallaby that lives nearby, I decided I needed a change when i signed up here as I usually use Giacomo, a character's name in an old movie I've always liked, The Court Jester.

Re: What does your avatar mean? My current avatar is artwork from the new cover version of my third book, First Sword. My user name is a play on words ... Mark Urpen - Marker Pen. I used it because I did a lot of critiques when I first found this place. Sadly, I don't have the time I did then.
