My name is from my real name actually. Orion is well, a star constellation, and my second name is the rank of the angelic order with six wings. That's why my nickname is SIX. | |

| Re: What does your avatar mean? I always use usernames of books I've read. And theres one who is a charcter from my own book too, but I use that very rarely. On here, my username is obviously from the Malazan series, and its the one I use most, by a long shot... |

| Re: What does your avatar mean? Ha! I never noticed the graffiti until you mentioned it and boy did I get a good laugh about that one! My DH uses a phrase derived from that same song to announce just about anything, for example, he'll say "Stop. Shower time." when he's off to clean up...silly yes, but amusing too. Since we're also talking handles, dwndrgn is what I've called myself from way back when...I fell in love with dragons and my middle name is Dawn...my two favorite character names were taken (Amberdrake and Panamon Creel) when I first started using user names so I chose dwndrgn and have just stuck with it. I still use Draco and Drake on occasion where it isn't being used but that's rare. Draco was my first username ever but too many people thought I was a man extolling draconian values...obviously not fantasy fans and my tender female sensibilities were bruised by the thought that I was even close to being manly (actually I am rather manly and don't have tender female sensibilities to be bruised much but I got tired of telling people that I wasn't a man...) |

| Re: What does your avatar mean? Bob Dylan ? Any reason why you've abandoned your old blues man ? My user name ? A name I like the sonority and as I'm fond of greco-roman mythology and Dune it's a good choice. My current avatar ? Liked the pic and the original by John Byrne is too big to be used as an avatar. |

| Super Moderator | Re: What does your avatar mean? My screen name? I've been told a time or ten that I have an attitude, so I decided to just go ahead and own it. Even though most of the people who say I have an attitude have a pretty bad attitude themselves. I will admit to being able to throw attitude pretty well when the occasion calls for it. Then I learned how to do so in the best way possible - by hanging around some drag queens. Now they knew how to throw attitude in a fearsome way. I don't know any of them anymore, and I really kind of miss them sometimes. |
