Re: Artemis fowl

I read the first book awhile back when it first came out. I can't remember if I liked it or not. Anyways, I picked up The Eternity Code becasue it was on sale. Anyone know which number it is in the series?

Re: Artemis fowl

That's number three.

The Arctic Incident is the second.
The Eternity Code is the third.
The Opal Deception is the fourth.
The Lost Colony is the fifth.

Personally, I think The Eternity Code is my favourite of the Artemis Fowl books.

Re: Artemis fowl

You like Eternity Code the best? I thought Lost Colony was the best. I love it, how it ends is annoying though.

Re: Artemis fowl

Well, I haven't read Lost Colony yet, so I can't really say! But thus far, I've enjoyed The Eternity Code the most. Although the Opal Deception is quite good as well.

Re: Artemis fowl

Out of EC and OD I would pick EC, even though OD is awesome.

Re: Artemis fowl

That is a brilliant opening line. I would say the first one is pretty good because it is when Arty is acting only for himself, no one else.

Re: Artemis fowl

I'm reading the Lost Colony now. Also I was pleased to find podcasts by Eoin Colfer talking about the book, excellent as an introduction, just search in arts on itunes for Artemis Fowl, only two come up and it is the one with the red image.

Re: Artemis fowl

chapter 6 - going a bit slowly!! I like the description of the fish bar...you can almost smell it!

I've noticed Half Moon Investigations is out soon -is this similar to the Artemis Fowl series? I'm thinking of getting it as a present.

Ditto. I wasn't impressed, but all in all it's not bad. My sister can enjoy it.
