Darren Shan - Lord Loss (Book One - The Demonata)

Has anyone read any of his books???

Was bored in the Asda (WalMart) and saw this book...

There is a warning on the back cover:

"warning: seriously scary"

Now although I have never been a great horror reader, I was attracted by the WereWolf on the front...

I like my horror in screamaging short-story chunks, not series, so I'll beg off this one.

No I haven't but it appears to be something up my alley as far reading goes. Have taken note.

I've read it, it's an extremely enjoyable read but not frightening in the slightest, so if your in for a proper horror steer clear.

Re: Darren Shan - Lord Loss (Book One - The Demonata)

I've read the first three books in his Vampire series and quite enjoyed them Currently trying to get the rest of those as there are a few then I was going to try and get the books from his new series with Lord Loss being the first book

THe vampire series he wrote is for YA's, wouldnt say it was scary, but definately a teens series.

Re: Darren Shan - Lord Loss (Book One - The Demonata)

i have read all his books in the vampire series and i loved them so much but when i started reading his new demonata series they were rubbish compared to the vampire books. I read the first 5 demonata books and lost intrest because the stories were not always linked and seemed a bit random but i would highly recommend the vampire series.

P.S. i also have all his vampire series books signed. Just thought i would share that bit of information.
