Re: Sob stories.

Im from australia so send this.

Mum, dad.

It has come to my attention that a friend of mine from the internet lives in australia so i took him out drinking that was the expensive part, but then i found out that i have a $4000 dollar fine because hes a minor. Help me, otherwise there going to deport me and from seth's stories it is apparent they do things to people before they leave. Im not going to bore you with the details but i really need the bits they cut off. Please mum and dad. Help.

Or just sent a ransom note, that could work.

If you are kidnapped by kangaroos, they will take you behind the black stump
Not much to eat there, so they might be tempted to take a nibble - although I'm sure they're vegetarians Sure you want to risk that Cal?
Great idea though Alia!

What are you on about iratebeaver? We have the dingo which has no feathers, the emu that does have feathers and extremely long legs and the koala bear who is either asleep or piddles on anyone close enough!

Re: Sob stories.

Dear Son, I have had a lovely time over here in America, stayed with a very special friend during winter. We were white-water rafting when I lost the AU$2000 return airflight ticket. I don't really want to leave as I am having a wonderful time but there are other things I have to do back in sunny Western Australia before I come back here. It's a long walk from Denver, Colorado to the coast, where I will probably have to work as a galley hand or even worse, a cabaret artist. You know how sea sick I get when I take the little dingy out for a paddle on the pond. I really need some help, son!!
If I manage to sail across the Big Puddle I could to walk into Melbourne but my black leather high heeled boots have got holes in the soles (oh poetry!). I suppose I could call in and see my Forum Friend while I am there. I wonder if he will let me have a corner of his Basement for the night and EVEN for free??????? I don't take up too much room and I am a nice person. I just hope he has cleaned up the puddles of drool and there are no pink fluffy slippers or latex hoses in sight. Please send via snailmail son, a rather large amount of money, or I might even have to go and work up in the banana plantations of THAT REPUBLIC Queensland. Son, I am sure they use whips up in that State, so I need help real fast. If you need a babysitter and as I'm the only Grandmother then you will HAVE to come and rescue me!!!!
PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE SON...............

(Sorry everyone, I sort of got carried away there!!!)

Now Cal my friend, if you are in Melbourne at some stage I'd be more than happy to provide you with an alibi by ringing your folks and providing whatever story was required to get the necessary mullla....

Ferris Bueller eat ya heart out!!!!....

I can even provide you with a place to stay in my special basement and I promise I'll clean up any residual drool, Scout's Honour...

Just think CAL, if you're here in Feb we could be in the same bookshop picking up Erikson's latest offering, you know you love it!!!!!

Dunno but sadly I just wrote a lengthy reply to your PM and when I selected send message the system crashed. I had been having problems with posting/submitting replies in any thread and using quotes that now appears to have been fixed but submitting PMs still causes the system to freeze and crash as per the previous thread problem when submitting replies. Obviously it relates to the new Chronicles setup.

If you could PM Brian about this I'd be grateful...

In short the answer to your PM is YES and Chronicles is No. 1
