Re: X-Men 3

Nightcrawler was very cool... but his accent was terrible.

I just wish they would build on the characters they have rather than concentrate on a load of half-developed afterthoughts.

Re: X-Men 3

The only problem with X-Men is that you can't possibly give all of the characters the proper attention in a 2 hour sitting and have a storyline. If some of the characters will be gone in this episode than that is fine with me because it leaves room for ones we have not yet seen on the screen.

Re: X-Men 3

Just read that Ellen Page is going to be Kitty Pryde in X3.
Never heard of her - hope she's good.

Re: X-Men 3

Well, as certain as these things get. Just read it on the Empire film magazine website.
They're usually accurate & reliable.

Now, if they start filming it, it would be great. Unfortunatly, Halle Berry is confirmed ?

I thought Halle was out a long time ago. Something about not getting paid enough, or being too much of a respectable actor ever since the remarkable Catwoman. And, to a lesser extent, Monster's Ball...

Frankly, considering how skewed the Wolvie/Cyke dynamics are going to be now they've killed Jean, I wouldn't be surprised if the lads wind up seeking comfort from each other.

I hope they have a good proportion of action in this one - one danger with X-Men stories is that they can start focussing too much on the characters, like the Ultimate X-Men title does, or the X-Men cartoon, and come of more as a teenage soap opera plus mtant powers. The right mix between character and action is the key - they've got it fairly right in 1 and 2, hope that lasts.

Re: X-Men 3

X-Men 3. Loved parts, hated others. For instance, why was there no explanation of where Nightcrawler went? And why was there a deleted scene which was better than the one used? Also, why did we have to sit through all the credits to see that short snippet at the end which only brought up theories and questions, and had no other purpose?

On the other hand, the action was good, and Beast was awesome. Juggernaut was Juggernaut, but he isn't actually a mutant, seeing as his power came from a crystal. I'm disapointed that Angel played such a small part, despite his useless power. And another thing. Where has Gambit been?
