But surely, some would want to follow in their parents' footsteps, to take up the Tok'ra cause?
I've also heard the argument of safety, that if one child fell into the hands of the Goa'uld, then all the knowledge of the Tok'ra would be in the Goa'uld. But wouldn't that be past knowledge. If extant Tok'ra produced Harsesus children, then the knowledge would be what has been passed down, but not necessarily what is current. If a Tok'ra parent doesn't know the whereabouts of all the agents, how could that information be passed to the child? |
