Rage Against the System System of a Down is a welcoming and important addition to mainstream rock during a time when there are few active artists putting out protest music. "Why do they always send the poor Barbarisms by Barbaras With pointed heels Victorious victories kneel For brand new spankin' deals Marching forward hypocritic and Hypnotic computers You depend on our protection Yet you feed us lies from the tablecloth" - "B.Y.O.B", System of a Down

Re: Rage Against the System I had the joy of seeing SOAD in concert last night at Donington's Download festival. Mindblowing. Not much in the way of banter with the crowd, just song after song that whiped the crowd into a frenzy. Fifty thousand people all bouncing and moshing for the better part of two hours. Now that's entertainment, you can't beat an almighty moshpit to "Chop Suey". Well worth the price of admission, the frankly awful, overpriced food and the bloody weather.

Re: Rage Against the System I caught them at Download too, and can't stress enough how stunning they were. Serj was on top form, throwing his voice around like a loony and joining in some cool-sounding instrumental additions to Mr.Jack. Plus they did a bizarre robotic version of sugar that was pretty amazing.
