Re: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this was my fav book of the potter series to date so it should be a good film as long as its not done by the bloke who directed the 3rd film because i thought he really messed it up. like the fact that the castle grounds in the 1st and 2nd film where flat and well cut, and in the 3rd it was on the side of a mountain and with dracos side kicks one was changed with someone who looks nothing like him.

Re: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire It was directed by Mike Newell, so you don't have to worry about that part... Although when I think that "Four Weddings and a Funeral" was also directed by Mike Newell, I wonder should we be worrying in a different direction? ![]()

Re: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire i love the Harry Potter series, a tie b/w Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix for my fave, but I cannot stand the movies. I feel that they are not movie material because they are so long and have so much good detail that if you miss something in the movie, the movie is out of wack. much like that long run-on, no wait i fixed it lol.

Re: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire I gave up on these films when people raved about the third after it had missed out ALL THE FRIGGIN PLOT POINTS!!! Seriously. Nowhere did they say anything about the map-drawing crew... it just assumed you knew the story. I might go and see this one, but I'm not hopeful ![]()

Re: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire it actually looks ok I have no problem with the Harry Potter movies - they're based on childrens books, the movies are targeted to a young audience and they love it. If some grownups like it too then its a bonus. I've been forced to watch many, many crappy kids movies and at least I can watch these without sneaky a book & torch into the cinema ![]() (but the second movie for me was the best so far.....I seem to have this thing about liking the 2nd movie in trilogies - Two Towers, ESB & Aliens for example )
