| Tattersail Hey all. Im about 100 pages into Gardens of the Moon (kindly loaned to me by Red Temple) and I have a question. How do you see Tattersail? Is there anyone famous you have "cast" into her role? Or have any of you formed an image beyond the description given in the book? Im having trouble seeing her...in fact she is slowly being taken over by the image of Angela Lansbury in Bedknobs and Broomsticks... and that has to stop!!!! There was also a reference to her being 200+ years old. Does the aging stop at a certain point after becoming a wielder of magic or do they just age slowly? Thanks for any input!!   |

| Re: Tattersail Hiya *****POSSIBLE BACK-HISTORY SPOILERS***** About the age thing, there are several reasons that Tattersail is that old. Initially, she is a sorceress, and they live longer than normal people. Also, she was a perifery memeber of what is referred to as the "Old Guard" of the empire, meaning she was there from the beginning. That lot have special stuff done to them, it would seem... I hate having to say this, but you'll learn a lot more if you just keep reading |

I figured a cessation of aging would look different than a "slowing" and also wanted to be able to compare her to other characters. | |
