Re: Discussion -- 300 Word Challenge #6

Very nice photo!

But, darn it, it's not going to fit well as my desktop wallpaper. It would give me a headache to look at it sideways all month. Then again, the Challenge photo always gives me a headache anyway, no matter how nice it is.

You should be able to see it. It's visible to me. But we often have trouble with these challenges because whatever method we choose, somebody can't see the picture. We'll work on it, though.

In the meantime, can you see this attachment? (Click on it to make it large.)

It's a very interesting picture, already got half an idea running through my skull. Unfortunately it's colliding with all the hyperactive ones inspired by the 75 worder.

Re: Discussion -- 300 Word Challenge #6

Do you mean where was it taken, or what it is intended to show?

I have a draft of a story. Even if I finish it in the next few days, I'm going on vacation the 8th, and I may not have internet access. If I don't, I won't be able to post it until I get back on the 24th. I hope I won't spend all that time taking out words and putting them back in again.

It looks like Dundee to me, with the chimney (is that The Stack?) but I could be wrong since I don't know where it's taken from.

Aye laddy it certainly is. The storm is back, we've had to kill our sheep for their skin as the wool factory has burned down.

The central heating is still working, but once the candle has burned out. We'll have none.

It's a good idea and as for the breakfast. Have you got the recipe?

To, me it looks like a postcard - with the photographers name vertical in the lower left corner :-)

I meant what's the thing in the front? A gate or something? (Sorry, should've been more specific!) I can see it's a town behind.
