Hi everyone, I'm new here as of today. I've been thinking about joining a forum for a while now to talk to people that I have things in common with. I have no real-life friends anymore and I've just been dying for some human interaction. I'm into reading and gaming mostly, with a little birdwatching (don't judge me!) on the side. Really I'm here to discuss books, maybe games, and overall to make some friends, preferably female (I am also a female.) In short, hi! How is everyone? I look forward to getting to know all of you and having some nice conversations!

Re: New Here, Hello! Greetings, Rene, and welcome to The Chrons. As others will advise you, there's a list of cautionary notes to be had, but bird-watching is not among them. Be advised though, if you practice your avian reconnaissance in here, you're likely to see some pretty strange birds. May many happy hours here be yours. Grim

Re: New Here, Hello! Hey, welcome to the Cult of Doom! Mwahahaha! I mean, er, Chrons. Ahem. I used to do a little bit of birdwatching. Lots of UK and US birds have the same names but are actually completely different (I think the robin is one such example).
