Edge-Lit, Derby, 14th July - latest updates!

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to pass on the very latest news on this year's Edge-Lit event, taking place at QUAD in Derby. The 14th July is going to be a jam-packed day of events, with activities running from 10am-midnight and taking in panels, readings, workshops, films and much more on the day. There's loads of news coming out each day on the event, with some of the very latest below...

The full author line-up for the event is confirmed, with the potential of a few additions yet - you can check out the full array of talent taking part at http://edgelitderby.blogspot.co.uk/2...confirmed.html. As I'm sure you'll agree, it's a really exciting gathering of speakers for the day.

We've also got the first confirmed details on the film programme, which will have a HP Lovecraft film. With Friday night featuring the superb THE CALL OF CTHULHU, and a Saturday night double-header, preceded by a panel on Lovecraft's work, this should be a really exciting thread of the schedule. Tickets to the Friday double-header are £10, with the Saturday night screenings included within your ticket price! You can check out all that info at http://edgelitderby.blogspot.co.uk/2...confirmed.html

We're also going to be running a fantastic raffle on the Saturday night, and you can check out the announcement of the first prizes at http://edgelitderby.blogspot.co.uk/2...le-latest.html. There will be a lot more confirmed as the event closes in, so keep your eyes peeled!

We're also going to have a packed-out dealers room, with 11 tables in the Box filled with a fine range of books both new and second-hand. I'll be announcing more details on that one in the near future.

So don't miss out - you won't get a better offer at £25 for the full day's events! Check out all the latest info and booking at http://www.derbyquad.co.uk/special-e...lit-day-ticket

Thanks a lot, and hope to see you there!

Alex

I used to live there! Bit of a long way away now, though, to get back over there
