| Hello from Pennsylvania Hello everyone! I'm Tom, but since there's probably more than one Tom here, you can either call me TomS or Alan. I've written since I was a teenager and I'm finally writing a science fiction novel. It's intended to be the first book in a trilogy, actually. I'm at 26,000+ words at the moment. Naturally, I really want to get this whole thing right so I figured I'd join here and see how other people are doing it. Also, it will be nice to talk to other science fiction writers. I hope to hear from you all soon Cheers! TomS |

| Re: Hello from Pennsylvania Greeting from a fellow rust belt-ian? I usually find my self at the edge of Ohio and and Penn for work. Take a look at the challenges, they are both fun and instructive. You might be too nice to the Texan, you know how it goes, all my ex's live in Texas. (Probably the only country song I remember, ha). |

| Laundress Extraordinaire | Re: Hello from Pennsylvania Welcome home TomS I recommend a leisurely stroll round the grounds over the guided tour. And since people here are as friendly as they come don't hesitate to ask for direction should you find yourself lost. There are some interesting characters hanging out in the lounge, so if you suddenly find yourself face to face with something out of someone else's wildest fantasies, just order a drink and relax your probably in the tea room. |
