| Hello Hello everybody! I did plan on introducing myself before posting anywhere but I went ahead and posted before this anyway... woops! My name is Rob, I am an IT student at university in Australia. To be honest, I'm not sure why I am doing IT when a real passion of mine lies in writing and creating new worlds. I have always enjoyed writing (especially fantasy) but recently I have been sitting down and actually doing some! I found this forum just browsing the web and it looks like my cup of tea, so I thought I would hop in and give it a go. I look forward to learning a thing or two off of all of you, and hopefully I will be able to contribute too. Rob. |

| Laundress Extraordinaire  | Re: Hello creativity and IT are not mutually exclusive pursuits. some of the best IT people I know are quite creative (have to be to find their way out of someone else's programing errors.) and delightfully entertaining to know. that said, if you dont know why you are doing something it would be a good thing to take a long hard look at it and see if you can find the answer. especially with education costs the way they are. wouldnt want to end up with students loans on something you plan to forget and never use again. also: WELCOME!! hopefully you will feel right at home here and find the all the encouragement you desire to pursue your deepest dreams. |

| not sure if...  | Re: Hello Hi Rob, I am also a student doing a non-creative degree who is a writer in their spare time  You might find your participation in the Chrons to be a definite detriment to your work though (like right now I should be revising...) welcome on board! |
