does anyone know what this is? I love it, but didnt buy it at the time, there wasnt a tag in the pot to tell me, and now its not for sale where I didn't buy it. would like to buy it in future.

also if you know what it is, can you tell me what kind of care it likes? looks like it might be a shade lover (guessing because of the color of leaves and the coincidence that 95% of plants I love also love shade)

Looks like coleus to me, too.

Shade loving. Makes a good houseplant, too.

Coleus (Solenostemon scutellarioides) it is. Comes in a multitude of colours and combinations:

Oh wow!! Those are all the same thing? Should have bought it when I had the chance then. Looks like its going to be hard finding the same leaf twice.

And that's just under the scientific name. Try Google Images for "coleus"...
