Footy Competition Based On The Euro's?

Anyone interested?

Something along the lines of each of us forecasting the score before each game/round.

Points awarded for getting the right result, additional points for getting one or both teams score correct. Or something like that.

Did we do something like this for the last World Cup, or am I imagining it?

I'm in. UEFA run a fantasy comp based on the Euros but this may be simpler. Are you volunteering to tot up the scores, mosaix?

Let's see what people think, but I wouldn't mind doing the scoring if someone took over during the week 16th - 23rd June when I'm away and probably without internet access.

I would be up for this, I have just searched thew web and found this site

If you do want to enter, please can you put your nickname as your Chronicles name, that way we can know who is who and I wont wonder who Stuart is when I sent him and his family a Christmas card.

It seems fairly basic, but the scoring might be a bit complex. Basically you guess the score, if you get it right you get points, if you get the goal difference right (you put 1-0 and it is 2-1) you get points, and if you guess the right amount of goals for a team you get right (you put 3-1 and it is 0-1) but the main thing will be that we don't have to add up scores ourselves. Also i think you get more points the further on the compeition goes.

Let me know if you want to join, I can then either send you an invite, or allow you to join on line. I made it so I have to accept entrants, to make sure we can keep it in the Chrons. So please let me know and it'll be fine.

Hopefully that is ok, if anyone else has a better site we could use that.

I can't access Moonbat's link either, but it looks good and after the draining process of 9 months of fantasy football, it would make a nice change. So send me the necessary please, Moonbat.

If you follow the link I posted, (is it just your workplace firewall that is stopping access?) then you'll have to register, but then I think you can search for an existing pool, if you use the code bilhorn it should take you to the Chronicles pool, then click to join and I'll accept you (as long as I know who you are)

I think a full on fantasy league is a bit much, but I'd probably be happy to join in if people are up for it.
