Hello SFF Chroniclers!

Been a long time away since joining in 09, but back now. Just wanted to say Hi to all and that I am looking forward to posting some excerpts and reading some great storylines.

Hi and welcome back.

Just one tiny word of caution regarding the "posting some excerpts". The only place you can do this nowadays is Critiques and we've revamped the rules there in the last couple of years, so if you haven't been dropping in to see us in the meantime, these might have passed you by. The most important thing is that we now require a member to have 30 counted posts before he can start a thread there (some areas of the site don't increase post count so posts there aren't taken into consideration). So if you were thinking of posting work, do please read the rules first. That 30 post rule also applies to Press Releases.

The other news in the last 2 years in Aspiring Writers relates to our short story Writing Challenges. A 75 word story Challenge every month, and a 300 worder every quarter. The 300 is now over until August, but you're in time to vote for April's Challenge, and this month's 75 worder has another 10 days to run, so check them both out.

I must have missed you the first time around (a thousand pardons, I'm something of an obliviot). Let me remedy my egregious oversight by welcoming you back. It's curious that The Judge would choose to warn you about posting excerpts when sleep deprivation and social alienation crossed the threshold with you, but I'm sure you'll figure this out.
