War of the Worlds - Goliath

http://www.wotw-goliath.com/video_trailer01.html

Now I'll admit I've a fond spot for animations, but that just looks amazing! Coming out of Malaysia apparently and I'll certainly look forward to seeing it

It now occurs to me to be surprised that no one (to my knowledge) has run with this idea before, that the survivors of HG Wells's invasion would have to gear up for another one. Looks like cheesy fun.

Well, there is a Asylum movie with a similar premise...

Re: War of the Worlds - Goliath

Welles' book and the reasonable adaptations are not action oriented so much as pure Science Fiction. Regardless it's still a reasonable extrapolation of the Welles concept (albeit a little Steam Punk).

Thank you so much Overread for letting us know about this animated flick.

H.G. Wells "War of the Worlds" is my favorite story of his, I like many of the different versions I've seen (but not the Spielberg movie).

I can't wait to see this "Goliath" version! I watched only a few seconds of the trailer, I wanted to see the quality of the animation.

This certainly looks interesting. Let's hope the film lives up to the trailer

With both Martians and Humans striding about the land in their machines, it seems to have a touch of Mechwarrior about it.

In The Second War of the Worlds the "Martians" decide to attack an alternate Earth in another dimension.
