Re: Discussion -- 75 Word Challenge -- May

Curses, foiled again! Thought of a great idea...long after I've already posted my story.

When did you say Science Fantasy was coming around as a genre again?

All you need to do is win, DEO, and it can be back in June if you want.

Re: Discussion -- 75 Word Challenge -- May

What? I have to win this thing to choose the genre? With all this talent I'm competing against? *sighs*

Likewise. I want to try and do something "unique" or that takes a really different approach to what we think of as colour... but so far? zip!

I also think colour is almost too broad and nebulous. Sometimes the challenge can feel too narrow. This time it feels too open

Good story TDZ, I'm guessing they didn't want red-card's brain.

Maybe just for clumsy medical students to practice on.

(A nice, nasty story BTW, TDZ.)

Good thing, I don't think they'd find it anyway.

Re: Discussion -- 75 Word Challenge -- May

Been A bit quiet this month, but been sitting at work (whjere it's really quiet at the moment) twiddling my thumbs and figured it was about time to get my entry up for the month.

I've got this itch at the back at my mind and in my fingers, so I may well return with the comments next month following my two month hiatus

Re: Discussion -- 75 Word Challenge -- May

Dusty, your story was just too clever, I see tons of votes, I also see dead people, so don't go too much by what I say.

My brane has been on a rest break lately but I did post a story in spite of it, or to spite it?

My original title was Ringo VS The Colourada Kid, but I thought Jr. might take it personal so I changed it.

Weather is real nice for this time of year.

I've done something. Hardly original, though. Someone must have done it before, I'm sure. (and I'm not sure if it is Science Fantasy, either).
