Feast/Dance: Suggested chapter order for super book I've ordered the chapters in mostly chronological order, in a way that doesn’t spoil the action or ruin the narrative. I find this order makes for a more focused and enjoyable story. It will be even tighter if you skip Daenerys' chapters altogether (they work better as a separate novella anyway). Let me know what you think. Code: Chapter order (Feast/Dance) Feast: Prologue (The Alchemist) Feast: The Prophet (Aeron Damphair) p. 17 Feast: The Captain of Guards p. 30 Feast: Cersei I Dance: Prologue Dance: Tyrion I Dance: Daenerys I Feast: Brienne I Dance: Jon I Dance: Bran I Dance: Tyrion II Feast: Samwell I (Optional, as it is much the same as Jon II) Dance: Jon II Feast: Arya I Dance: Tyrion III Feast: Cersei II Feast: Jaime I Feast: Brienne II Feast: Sansa I Dance: Davos I Dance: Jon III Feast: The Kraken's Daughter p. 159 Feast: Cersei III p. 172 Dance: Daenerys II Dance: Reek I Dance: Bran II Dance: Tyrion IV Dance: Davos II Feast: The Soiled Knight p. 185 Feast: Brienne III p. 199 Dance: Daenerys III Dance: Jon IV Feast: Samwell II p. 214 Feast: Jaime II p. 227 Dance: Tyrion V Dance: Davos III Feast: Cersei IV p. 239 Feast: The Iron Captain p. 255 Feast: The Drowned Man p. 267 Dance: Reek II Feast: Brienne IV p. 280 Feast: Queenmaker p. 298 Feast: Arya II p. 313 Feast: Alayne I p. 328 Feast: Cersei V p. 344 Feast: Brienne V p. 362 Dance: Jon V Dance: Tyrion VI Feast: Samwell III p. 377 Feast: Princess in the Tower p. 587 Dance: The Merchant's Man p. 83 Dance: Daenerys IV Feast: Jaime III p. 391 Feast: Cersei VI p. 410 Feast: The Reaver p. 427 Dance: The Lost Lord p. 306 Feast: Jaime IV p. 445 Feast: Brienne VI p. 460 Feast: Cersei VII p. 473 Dance: The Windblown p. 320 Dance: The Wayward Bride p. 332 Feast: Jaime V p. 487 Feast: Cat of the Canals p. 505 Dance: Tyrion VII Feast: Samwell IV Dance: Jon VI Feast: Cersei VIII Dance: Davos IV Feast: Brienne VII Dance: Daenerys V Feast: Jaime VI Dance: Melisandre Dance: Reek III Feast: Cersei IX Dance: Tyrion VIII Dance: Bran III Dance: Jon VII Dance: Daenerys VI Feast: Alayne II p. 605 Dance: The Prince of Winterfell Dance: The Watcher p. 500 Dance: Jon VIII p. 514 Feast: Brienne VIII p. 629 Dance: Tyrion IX p. 525 Feast: Cersei X p. 642 Dance: The Turncloak p. 538 Feast: Jaime VII Dance: The King's Prize p. 549 Dance: Daenerys VII p. 564 Dance: Jon IX Dance: The Blind Girl Dance: A Ghost in Winterfell p. 605 Feast: Samwell V (9) Dance: Tyrion X Dance: Jaime I Dance: Jon X Dance: Daenerys VIII Dance: Theon Dance: Daenerys IX Dance: Jon XI Dance: Cersei I Dance: The Queensguard p. 731 Dance: The Iron Suitor p. 741 Dance: Tyrion XI Dance: Jon XII Dance: The Discarded Knight p. 782 Dance: The Spurned Suitor p. 793 Dance: The Griffin Reborn p. 801 Dance: The Sacrifice p. 815) Dance: Victarion p. 827 Dance: The Ugly Little Girl p. 835 Dance: Cersei II p. 848 Dance: Tyrion XII p. 860 Dance: The Kingbreaker p. 872 Dance: The Dragontamer Dance: Jon XIII Dance: The Queen's Hand Dance: Daenerys X Dance: Epilogue

Re: Feast/Dance: Suggested chapter order for super book TDK, Welcome! Thanks for the list. I plan on combining AFFC and ADWD on my current reread. I was planning on using the order that I've propsed in the thread that viZ linked. Have you actually reread according to your list?

Re: Feast/Dance: Suggested chapter order for super book viZion and Boaz, I did not read through every letter, especially Dany, so I can't promise anything on her. This is my best effort, based on my knowledge of the books and earlier lists and feedback on those. I can see some problems with Orionis list, like the Merchant's Man spoiling Ariannes arc (growing up, discovering her fathers plans). In my list I moved back Merchant's Man to after Ariannes chapters, which works great in any case, as there are so few Quentyn chapters in a very long book. TDK
