and here's some 'other stuff' -

1st - read the review with a giant grain of salt as, several of us fans are rather convinced it was written by the author himself. ETA: apparently the 'review' is gone now, however, a copy/paste of it does live here: http://ivorygates.dreamwidth.org/236192.html

2nd - beware that the entire premise is a little skeevy as it's apparently about two young girls

3rd - beware the ridiculous MarySue elements, such as the 'magic immortal-making pet dragon'

4th - his work is, quite possibly, a huge breach of US copyright law, but since i'm not a legal professional, i can't say for sure

peruse at your own risk!

Can't get the ovorygate link to work. But the 4* review on Amazon seems a bit suspicious. Huge numbers of spoilers in a questionable style and a little excitable about how good the fan-fic is.
