There is a brief conversation between Anakin and Senator Palpatine that alludes to a deeper relationship between the two that is not shown on-screen.
Do you think this is merely a friendship? Or is it perhaps a secret jedi training? What help could Palpatine have been to Anakin in recent years?
I also wonder why Anakin states that he doesn't trust politicians even though he seems to have this relationship with Palpatine (and, obviously Padme). |
