| HBO confirm Season 3 HBO have confirmed they will be continuing on with the series with A Storm of Swords getting the royal treatment of two full seasons. That's 20 episodes devoted to one book folks! I think we can all agree that this is good news and the proper way to honour the best book in the series so far. Peter Dinklage has also said that he is signed up for six years. |

| Re: HBO confirm Season 3 I am going to try to enduce a 10 month long coma so I can wake up and start watching season 3. seriously, I am THAT excited. With aCoK being drawn out into 2 seasons, they will be able to get more out of the books, and presumably pick up a few characters they left out in season 2. Spolier>>Meera and Jojen are going to make an appearance<< and I am excited to learn how they will write that one in. If the Coma doesnt work out, I may have to spend the interim re-reading all the books again. |
