Re: Discussion -- 75 Word Challenge -- APRIL

Thank you for the comments, Karn, that made me smile; I can see a full length book developing in my head now... oh dear, not another book, I've not finished this one yet!

My mind is drawing a blank for this one. Actually, it's not drawing anything, and that's the problem. I'd rather it drew a blank than nothing.

Thanks, Karn! Glad it came across well.

I have my story ready to post - and thought I should look through those already there. Hmmmm... Is it a problem having the same title as another story (but with different a take on the theme/genre)? I like my title and wouldn't really want to change it but I will if I have to.

Either that or I might try for a second tale to give me a choice...

I don't see it as a problem, but then I am dangerously close in both title and theme to StillLearning's story that I can't really say otherwise.

Thing is I don't read any stories until I've got mine (which I why I often don't see any until the very end of the month) and once I've got mine to a point where I'm happy with it, I post before courage fails me! So, having gone back and had a proper read through I've realised what I've done - and I just hope that it doesn't count against me.

I am really impressed with the no of stories so far, and the very high quality of story-telling. Voting is going to be hard . . . .

I was unaware that griping about the challenge is required. Okay, this I can do. I hate the genre personally, too much like the movies/games that my brother likes. Which could be what went through my mind when I tried the challenge. Probably why people took me as morbid.

Well, we already have two 'til death' titles this month. I fancy we've had duplicate titles in other month's challenges too. So there's no rule saying you can't... (As long as it's not mine)

Karn review: TacticalLoco: Reads like a conspiracy theory, this one.

Ouch! On the other hand, since when has Capitalism not been a conspiracy?

Submitted my first entry. As the new guy, I'm feeling a little intimidated. Well, just hope it came out alright. I wrote the thing so quick.....

Welcome to the Chrons and the Challenges, Swamp Fox. It came out fine.

Stick around, though. We've got the 300 open for business in 6 days.

That's an interesting interpretation, not what I had in mind while writing it but I did make it intentionally vague exactly for that reason thanks for the review.
