Discover Festival 2012 - latest news!

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to pass on the very latest news on this year's Discover Festival, which runs at the fabulous Snibston Discovery Museum in Coalville, Leicestershire from 18th-20th May.

We've got our first sneak peek at the schedule, which has just gone on the blog today at http://discoverevent2012.blogspot.co...neak-peek.html - loads of great events going on over the weekend, including a host of panels, reading, workshops, films and much more!

We also have SATURDAY ONLY tickets on sale for the first time - so now you can either attend the whole weekend for £45, or come along for the Saturday for just £30!

With Guests of Honour GRAHAM MASTERTON, PETER F HAMILTON and JON COURTENAY GRIMWOOD, plus more than 20 other writers taking, it should be a fantastic weekend!

For all the latest info, you can visit www.discoverfestival.co.uk, or to book you can head to http://www.discoverfestival.co.uk/#/booking/4558412914

Any questions at all, just drop me a line here or at discoverevent@hotmail.co.uk

Thanks a lot!

Alex

Same here - I'm completely addicted to cons now. I blame Juliet McKenna for prodding me into going, and Ian here for organising such a fab one that I wanted to go to more

I heard from Chris Teague of Pendragon Press (via his Twitter account) that the Discover Festival has been cancelled. Anyone know if that's true or not? If it is, it's a great shame.

Yes, Patrick. Unfortunately it has been. I agree - a great shame. I was looking forward to it.
