My name is Matt, I'm 19 and aspiring to write. Though I'm posting mainly so I can rack up the post count to get a critique, I like what I see and there's a good chance I'll be around for a while.
In that case, I might as well tell you all a bit about myself.

I'm a contentious prick, sorry.
I'm big into nerd-media. Sci-fi, fantasy, anime, so forth.
Music is also a big part of my life, I enjoy pretty much everything from the blackest of metal to Ladiest of Gagas.
Robert Jordan is definitely better than Tolkien.

So there you have it; me in a nutshell. Fascinating, right?

Welcome to the Chrons, Urum. As you're an aspiring author, I'll recommend the 75 Word Challenge in the Aspiring Authors sub-forum.

There's no rush to get a critique, though. In fact, you might want to give us a chance to get to know you first. After all, it's always good to know that you're critiquing for someone who is going to stay and join in with the community, although having read your post, I'm sure you know that.

Anyway, welcome once again and good luck with the writing.
