| When History Fractures (easter special on new release) Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a blast recently I spent the last couple of weeks battling floods so I haven't been around anywhere as much as I'd like. So I figured this was a good way to cheer myself up! (not that I need it, I never ran out of beer!) I am preparing to release my fourth book in paperback and have the early release kindle up. I have just marked it down from $2.99 to 0.99c, so shortly the kindle should go to that price - if buying, double check before you pay so you don't get in too fast! The paper back will be another week or two and will have a retail of $14.95. About the book: When History Fractures, Heroes Rise A collection of twelve stories by M R Mortimer. EASTER SPECIAL!* 99c (usually $2.99) - ends April 15 (Australian time) What makes a hero? Is it bravery? Is it intellect? Or is it merely circumstances? Sometimes heroes are made, in spite of their own wishes. In this book you will find heroes. Some you will love, some you will loath. None chose their path alone. Could you be a hero? Stories included in this volume are: (SF Stories): Convict (44 p) The Soft (20 p) False Prophets (20 p) Grug Nation (24 p) The Judas Goat (12 p) (Fantasy Stories): Princess Agent (14 p) Kaarthal (16p) Elemental Child (8 p) Memory (10 p) (Whimsical Stories): Monster Treat (8 p) Bongo and Blue - Elephant Detectives (6 p) Imps and Blue Paint. (3 p) (p = pages in paperback) Total: 41500 words, written in British English. * the easter special is on the early release version. The paperback is getting some changes before release which will transfer to the kindle after the special. The title text will be better defined on the cover image and the title is being changed to include the comma after Fractures. (so the title will read ''When History Fractures, Heroes Rise'' while the current kindle release reads ''When History Fractures Heroes Rise'') Aside from this the book will be identical. |
