If you simply want to show the world your writings, then as Warren says, we each have a blog in which we can do that. I can't pretend that the blogs are a particularly busy area but those who join in on the main forums are likely to get more readers, and therefore more reaction, than those who don't. One tiny word of warning/advice. We are perennially on the look out for those who wish to use the Chrons as an advertising medium for their work but who don't care actually to join in and contribute to the forums. In the past some new members have tried to use their blogs to link to their own off-site blogs and/or websites or other places where their stories might be found. This we don't allow except for well-established members. Therefore, by all means show us your writing if you wish to do so, but please don't attempt any links of self-promotion of that kind. |

| Re: Short stories You could try somewhere like here if you think your story is ready to be seen by the world. http://www.aphelion-webzine.com/sections/editorial.html It's a proper webzine and you have to submit your work to the staff. If they like it, they'll stick it in one of their issues. |

| John Burns | Re: Short stories Hi, I've a few stories I think I'd be interested in other peoples comments on. I'm not trying to sell them just now, I don't think they are original enough. I may have one short enough for a blog. I'm a serious writer and not trying to promote my work just now, rather get feedback. I was wondering about setting up my own website so i could post stuff up there. |

So join in a few discussions, help out others in Critiques with your thoughts on their work, and you'll soon find the posts mounting up. The blogs are the place simply to showcase work, not to receive feedback. |
