| Brian G. Turner | New Boards! Writing Group and Magazines Just to let you know I've set up two new boards. One is the new chronicles Writing Group, for extended critiques of more advanced work (ie, being prepared for submission), which is now a subsection of the Aspiring Writers board. HOWEVER, this section is currently only open to members with 500 posts AND have been a member for 3 months, to create a private area to reward current members, rather than encourage new members to sign up solely to post there, and thus drown out the work of existing members. This remains an experiment and rules may be relaxed at a later date. I've also created a new board Magazines for discussion of magazines such as Analog, Asimovs, F&SF etc, as well as make Interzone a subforum there, with the aim of merging that content into the Magazines board at a later date. Any questions, feel free to ask. |

| Re: New Boards! Writing Group and Magazines Hi Brian, There's a very real chance I'm missing something obvious, but I can't see the new Writing Group board under Aspiring Writers. Am I being an idiot, or are there any other reasons I might not 'qualify'? ![]() cheers, JDP |

| Re: New Boards! Writing Group and Magazines I can see it now! Thanks. Definitely wasn't showing before though - even after several (slightly impatient ) force refreshes of the page. |
