Magician

It's the 30th anniversary of Magician this year. Can't believe how quickly the years have gone
I spoke to Ray to ask how he was going to mark it & he initially he said there were no plans but has since changed his mind & may do something. Aithough he's not sure what yet

Re: Magician

The publisher just needs to release ALL his books on Kindle and not just some of them.

Re: Magician

I agree, can't understand why they've all been available on the US Kindle store for over a year but we're still waiting. I asked him about that as well & he says he'll have another word with his publishers.

Re: Magician

I buy my Kindle books from the US store as I am in South Africa, but the US store only seems to have his Krondor series and the latest books. I would love to get his books on my Kindle but I am resorting to getting the paper version which is taking up lots of space.

Re: Magician

You're right but the strange thing is, his whole back catelogue was available on the US site a few months ago. I wonder why they've been removed?

Re: Magician

I noticed Amazon does it's own thing and does not really care much for the consumer, as long as I spend money there they are happy to rip off as much as they want to. I will keep looking once a month to check if they have added the rest REF's books.

I am sure it has something to do with the publisher as well. Not just amazon.

Re: Magician

Good news - the complete Midkemia saga will be a available in Ebook format from this Monday.
Bad news - I've worked out it going to cost me over £100 to rebuild my collection in the cloud

Re: Magician

Valko - The Riftwar trilogy has been released today. I have sent samples to my Kindle to check the formatting before I buy.

I'm already onto A Darkness at Sethanon It's been so long since I read the books, I'd forgotten just how good they are.

My only gripe is the maps are formatted in a really low resolution. When I try to view on my iPad, they're unreadable

Re: Magician

That is a pity Valko, I don't bother with maps though.
