Glenn Lord: 1931-2011

Glenn Lord, long-time literary executor for Robert E. Howard's estate, died yesterday. As Scott Connors of The Eldritch Dark put it, "Apparently, 2011 just had to stick it to us one last time". I feel much the same.

I only spoke to him a handful of times back in the 1970s, but he certainly struck me as a very kind and generous man. Certainly, he was so with this youngster (as I was back then). RIP Glenn....

Sad news indeed. I've got a few of his collections from Zebra and REH's biography, THE LAST CELT. Very sorry to hear it.
