I like it a lot. Just a pity it's so far away.

I'll book the babysitter tomorrow.

Not as far away as The Hobbit. Definitely looking forward to this one, I just hope Scott delivers.

re: Prometheus Trailers.

I love the Alien, and I love Scott as a director, so I have towering, vast, epic expectations for this - which of course means the film has a lot to live up to if I am to avoid being disappointed!

The problem of course is with my expectations, not with the film, but who knows, maybe it can live up to them - it certainly is exciting to see the spaceship and the space jockey in clear detail and not just hidden in the dark and mist. I wonder what else will be revealed!

I'm going to watch Alien vs Predator II before I go to see this. That'll make it great by comparison.

Brilliant J-WO! Please don't get me started on how awful that movie was. I could watch that, and driving bamboo splinters up my nostrils would seem great in comparison.

Ha! I was already slicing pieces of bamboo in to shape just ten minutes in to that travesty of a film. I don't know how it has the temerity to even call itself a cynical cash in.

Hmm, looks pretty good, even though everyone except Idris is dressed for Mass Effect.

But... Space Jockey!

Oh man, I can hardly wait for this one. Now's a great time to rewatch Alien & Aliens again, I've already seen Alien 3 just the other day.

If it's a prequel, you'd only have to watch Alien.

re: Prometheus Trailers.

OK... so... this isn't so much a story about the aliens, but how the alien 'blueprint' became gene-compatable with humans. That's my guess from the trailer, anyway.
