I've not really looked into Tolkien's letters (save for the volume published many years ago), but it might be something I'd like to do later on. Is there a particular resource or two you would suggest? On a related note... on your research on the Tolkienian blurbs, you mention that you hadn't seen some of the Eddisons. I have copies of the first Ballantine printings of all the Eddison set, and only The Worm Ouroboros and Mistress of Mistresses mention Tolkien on the cover.... |
