I have to disagree, I think he's wanted her from the beginning (you can kind of tell when they do the flashback scenes), and he used her grief over Rick to get her (Not that I agree with what they did either but...)

I agree with you on this, its shows in that flashback. And I am still looking forward to Rick kicking his arse LOL Im not so sure what I think of Andrea's character. She wants to be tough, but she's not got the skills and keeps acting like a frightened girl.... Cant be a frightened girl and tough!!!! I am wondering what that mean begger Shane gonna do next episode!

| weaver of the unseen | Re: 2.02: The Walking Dead - Blood Letting Oh, right, they do show it. I thought that scene comes later but guess I was so wrong. Shane's had obviously been banging Mrs Grimes brains out before the apocalypse came in and my restriction on talking about it, was bad memory. I should have reviewed it. So please accept my apologies. They both should get it, and I know for a fact that in the comics they both receive not so nice ending. Is it going to happen here, I don't know. I have to disagree about Andrea as she might look as if she doesn't have skills because what she is something that others clearly doesn't posses. You'll see |

Andrea definitely has some mad skills, if only she would actually use them

| Wherever I Am, I'm There | Re: 2.02: The Walking Dead - Blood Letting I've not read the comics, but I certainly wondered why there are no dead bodies around the farm, and why there are only one or two individual walkers in the woods around the farm, rather than the herds elsewhere. I'm interested now, especially since Herschel is so sure than this is no worse than AIDS. I just thought that he hadn't been out much, but the farm has hardly any guns or supplies of any kind. It is just wrong for it to have been untouched. I'm also seeing loose ends - the flying helicopter in the first episode, whatever Doctor Jenner told Rick at the CDC. I'm glad there is more going on. I understand that they are looking out for the girl, but that highway isn't safe. I don't know why they don't stop arguing and get off the road to the farm. There is too much grandstanding about who should do what and too little action. Is that what most people would do under the circumstances? Possibly it is, but then most people would have died. Unlikely as it seems, these people are not just lucky, but to have survived against all the odds they would have to have been making some right decisions, and I just can't see that happening. I wish you hadn't spoilered about Lori and Shane, but Rick can be a very loose cannon, so it wouldn't be a surprise that he doesn't take it calmly. There IS a suggestion that they were having an affair before Rick was shot, but that wasn't explicitly shown yet. If they had only begun their relationship after Rick was believed dead then I see they did nothing wrong at all. However, if it was before, it changes everything, because Shane's motives for leaving Rick at the hospital, and some other events are all brought into question. I wish they would get this plot line over with though because I don't find it all that interesting. |

| weaver of the unseen | Re: 2.02: The Walking Dead - Blood Letting There's so much I'd like to say Dave, but like I said I take fifth. And I'm glad you're getting on with this even though I can imagine it's not your ideal show. PS. Warning, I might have to do row of pumps to get the board in order. |
