Wow, I have a VHS of this rotting in a box in my cellar somewhere. Had some amazing flying sequences and a great climax, but was a bit slow otherwise and the dub was appalling.

This was one of the anime films I always wanted to watch when I was younger, after seeing the trailer for it on a Manga video release (I can't remember which one it was, though), back when everything was on VHS. Thanks for the trailer, Starbeast.

Whenever I see this thread, the title makes me think of Hollandaise sauce, just one of those weird ways my brain is wired I guess. Anyway, it's slightly disturbing image, "Wings of Hollandaise."

Me too, I found it a while back.

It's a very interesting alternate look at the advancement in space technology.
