Kindle versions

I am disappointed in the publishers Kindle versions of David Gemmell's books. They are formatted very poorly with large spaces between paragraphs. I did however stumble on Dark Moon and it looks like it is the only book formatted like the novel, so I bought it and am thoroughly engrossed in the book. I would like to know if there is any DRM removal software so that I can reformat the bought versions I was intending to buy from Amazon.com. I am very picky about formatting, and I do not intend to use the software as a pirating tool. I respect the author and publisher copyright policies, but man someone needs to tell the publishers that their formatting sucks. If this post offends anyone (for the DRM software part) please Mods, I will not be offended if you remove it, I understand that the Chrons site maintains utmost integrity on these matters and do not want to incriminate the site or it's members in any way.

Rather than put it up on the public pages I will PM you with details on removing DRM from AZW (Amazon) files. Then I would recommend getting the free Calibre software which will allow you to convert the book to, for example, RTF which can then be edited and reformatted and then Calibre can be used to convert back to AZW. You may be able to get away with just converting to RFT and then converting back again (Calibre has a conversion option to remove spacing between paragraphs).

If you need any help please give me a shout (I have also built the skindle app into a slightly more friendly Windows app if you are interested). I also do not like pirating but I remove the DRM so I can read my books on any device I choose - seems reasonable to me

From Pyan actually back in 2009. So I guess if you followed his advice, then as I'm not a mod or a contact, I would be unable to PM you. Not to worry if you need further info just give me a shout. As I say I do this with every ebook I buy as a matter of course.
