| Re: Discussion October SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE I love the Monkees - saw Micky Dolenz in Hairspray - he was Wilbur to Michael Rouke's (Sinbad in Brookside) Edna. They were both fantastic. |

| Re: Discussion October SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE I've just started an alcohol-only diet, and it's working: I've lost three days already... it would have to be some bender to lose that many, though, Nixie. ![]() |

| Goblin Princess | Re: Discussion October SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE My mojo was not only lost last month, it was lying somewhere in the gutter (not that gutter!), but somehow I managed a story. It wasn't the best story I've ever written, not by a long shot. But it's not about writing something that will get a lot of votes; the important thing is to participate. |

That said, by an amazing coincidence, I had one last night! And, no kidding, I think Chrispy's demonic cats made an appearance. They were ostensibly very innocent and harmless as kittens but I knew that when they reached maturity they'd turn into pure evil. I'm also in the Mouse-house at the moment - an evil genius seems to have stolen what little mojo I have. It doesn't help that Teresa is making me feel guilty for not participating last month... ![]() I've yet to read any of the entries, but I think I'll have a peek and see if I can draw some inspiration. | |

| Re: Discussion October SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE 75 words to write a story. Egad! Played over nightmares, which I don't have, and wanted to stear from cliches if there even are any. Story ended up being 125 words lol. Dropped 50 words from it and somehow, it was up to par with whatever was going through my brain at the time. First Writer's Challenge to boot. I liked it! |

| At the end of reality | Re: Discussion October SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE Just be glad you weren't here for Chrispenycate's shot at the thing, Phoenix. I still have nightmares about that one myself. *Shudder* Rudyard Kipling is not exactly the simplest author to have to imitate.... |

| <3D~ | Re: Discussion October SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE Well now I feel silly because I've just written something. Started off as random words, fifty of them, then I figured I should probably try to make it into some sort of story type thing. And now it's 76 words. |

| Flaming Poltergeist | Re: Discussion October SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE I'd like to get back into it this month, especially with the theme being what it is (muaha). I have at least stared to think about it, which is already more than last month. Is just finding some time...and inspiration... |
