The Life-Hutch Hidden in the Void

The problem with building a new Tea Room here is that, due to the rush to get out of the situation at the old one, my calculations were a bit off, and this thing isn't allowing any use of the energy of the void, so no creating things.... Though, come to think of it, how'd you two get in here? That shouldn't be happening, either... nor that shadow.... ummmm.... something very strange is going on around here.....

I new tea had some very useful qualities, but this is the first I've heard of it being a spacetime manipulator/rearranger.... I'll be darned.

Well... perhaps I'd best take you up on that Ace, at least until I figure out what's going on and how best to fix...

*j.d. has been gesturing while speaking, and now has suddenly realized that his hand is growing transparent. looking down, he sees the rest of him is doing the same*

For some unknown reason, comes out in, The Library

*has just realised how blank canvassy this place is*

*dons a beret and pulls out a palette and paintbrush*

*unbeknownst to Hoopy, the "missing" shadow has taken up a stance on the wall just behind her left shoulder, almost blending with her own, and is watching her actions with great interest....*

*paints a bumper crop of carrots*

Ooh, I should paint myself a lovely cup of tea...

*a small area of white appears in the lower portion of the upper semi-spheroid of the shadow, what one might almost be tempted to term "teeth"... though of a particularly sharp and pointed kind....*

*pauses*

*whiskers twitch* Say, you ever get one of those feelings...



*shrugs*

*paint* la dee dee...

*the shadow's "grin" widens....*

Freda scuttles back and tries to get Hoopy's attention.

*puts the finishing touches to the painting*

*which is a rather attractive female shadow monster, looking alluring and pretty with glittery eye shadow*

*turns and plants a smooch on the shadow monster behind her*

*unfortunately for Hoopy, the shadow has now fully merged with her own, hence her "legging it" merely takes the shadow along with her...*
