Did I miss something? How will she have both halves of Ice? Tywin had Ice forged into 2 swords, one of which went to Joffrey and one of which went to Jamie. Jamie gave his to Brienne and dubbed it Oathkeeper. Did UnCat somehow end up with the one that Joffrey had?

Third point. If somebody said Jon Snow would be Azor Ahai, I was 99% certain that would be Dany.

Okay...here's a theory. Jon is part Targaryen (won't discuss here). The Night's Watch throw Jon onto a funeral pyre (wouldn't want an angry Jon Snow wight) and then maybe he doesn't burn like Dany. There's your second dragon rider.
I don't have the book on hand but the elder brother says something like "the 'hound' is dead", and later that "'Sandor' is at rest". Take it as you will, some believe the brother was simply referring to an aspect of his personality which died.

Yes Dany is a solid candidate, however I know in a Mel POV chapter she looks into her fires and prays to be shown the Azor Ahai reborn (thinking Stannis) but she keeps seeing John.

I really like your theory though Such a spectacular visual. And wouldn't that be a wonderful rebirth Imagine how shocked the Nights Watch and the Wildlings would be. I'd expect the red god R'hllor would get quite a few more followers! well as would Jon.

Re: So much to resolve (SPOILERS)

If GRRM kills of Jon Snow, Tyrion or Jaime, I will hate him forever.

Characters that I don't really care about and wont mind if they are killed off is: Bran, Arya, Dany, Aegon, Theon, and Sansa.

Characters that I don't want to die, but aren't as essential to me include: Stannis, Jorah Mormont, Barristan the Old, and Davos.

Characters that MUST DIE! include: Walder Frey, Ramsay Bolton, Roose Bolton, Littlefinger, Varys, and Cersei.

Re: So much to resolve (SPOILERS)

Prepare to hate, BaDHaBiTt! I don't think Jaime's going to survive the series (which will leave me devastated too). There have been too many hints about how he and Cersei came in the world together and will go out together. I still think he's the Valonqar, and will kill Cersei in the last book, then either kill himself or be killed shortly after.

I reckon Sansa and Bran will survive. There seems to be a place being carved out for them. Not so sure about Arya (which will also upset me). I could see her completing her training as a Faceless Man, then losing her life in the tumult that's going to overtake Westeros when The Others attack.

I think both Boltons and Littlefinger are toast. I don't know that Selmy or Jorah Mormont will make it, but if not, I hope they manage honourable deaths battling to save the kindgom.

I hope Davos makes it, because he seems like one of the few decent men in Westeros, and surprisingly, I wouldn't mind if Stannis survived. I hated him early on, and I still don't like his unbending attitude, but he gets credit for going to the wall and trying to do the right thing for Westeros.

Re: So much to resolve (SPOILERS)

I agree with Jaime not surviving, but I think things are going to go full circle for him. The first thing we see him to is extremely bad and dishonorable. I think he will die in the last book doing something very honorable and valiant, redeeming him in the eyes of those around him. Perhaps he holds off a group of white walkers allowing those he cares about to escape or something.
