I enjoyed Mission of Honor and without putting in any spoilers my feelings could be summed up as "Well finally!".
I don't think I can read over a hundred pages of text on the computer. My eyes have become very sensitive after reading alot of books on my computer.

Sorry missed this as I was away at the time. Yes it is true in the end it was no great surprise; it was clearly where the story had been heading for quite a while hence the "finally".

One thing to note it is around that point that the HH books and the spin off Honorverse books start to overlap and both threads make references back to each other.
