For brother biodroid:

Metallica - Ride the Lighting. Classic and can be played from start to finish over and over and over.

Re: What Is The One Album That You Can Listen To Completely

Heh, Pink Floyd. I used to listen to them all the time. I think I'd rather listen to Animals or Wish You Were Here now instead of Dark Side of the Moon, just because I've heard that one so many times. Always liked Breathe, though; one of the first songs I learned the bassline for.

Anyway, I could listen to Rosetta - Wake/Lift all day. Fantastic metal album.

Hmm, a few that I can think of straight away:

Rush - Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, Signals
Opeth - Still Life, Blackwater Park
AC/DC - Powerage
Gazpacho - Night
Queensryche - Operation MindCrime
The Yes Album

If I had to pick just one it'd be Permanent Waves

Massive Attack - Mezzanine

First listened to when I was touring New Zealand, it was the perfect accompaniment.

It's 'Momentary (not temporary) Lapse of Reason' by Pink Floyd: referring of course to the brilliant but tormented Syd Barrett.

And I left one out: Enya's 'Orinico Flow'

But once you start there are so many ...

I like listening to Mezzanine when I'm on the computer. Makes me feel like I'm doing something important even though I'm probably just killing time. Also, I think it's fair to say Mezzanine is the perfect accompaniment to everything.

Hah, just last weekend I dusted this one off for a spin. Good record. Seems to get better the louder the volume is, too.

Re: What Is The One Album That You Can Listen To Completely

I feel I need to add to my list now: -

Caro Emerald - Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor
Paolo Nuttini - Sunny Side Up

And...

The Queen of the Damned OST

All three of these I've been listening to on repeat for the last week or more without ever hitting the skip button

The cure - disintegration.

Put this on last night because I hadn't listened to it in awhile. Just excellent.
