The History Girls

The History Girls joint blog has just gone live at http://the-history-girls.blogspot.com

There are 26 of us writers (mainly YA and younger but also writers of just adult fiction), and there should be a daily pots, subject to the vagaries of Blogger.

We're on Twitter as @history_girls and Facebook has a Page for us (The History Girls). Lots of goodies to come.

Mary

Re: The History Girls

Interesting site and a good idea for a group like that. Historical fiction is one of the most interesting genres to me.

Will there posts about what the writers books is about too? Most of female historical fiction i know are classic ones from last century.

Currently we have a giveaway of of 5 copies of Louise Berridge's In the Name of the King (adult); 5 of Eve Edwards' The Rogue's Princess (YA) and two signed copies of Peter Ackroyd's Foundation (the first of his six volume History of England)

The first two comps finish at the end of tomorrow and the Peter Ackroyd one on 16th September so do come over and take a look under Competitions at http://the-history-girls.blogspot.com
