| UK Agents for sf/f At long last a comprehensive list of UK literary agents who will consider SF/F/H for the adult market. UK literary agents who specialise in science fiction and fantasy We will try to keep this up-to-date. If anyone knows of any other agents who should be on this list please drop me a PM. |

| Re: UK Agents for sf/f Really? When I clicked on the link I found the website still active, they'd just moved the agent page. New link is http://www.t-party.org.uk/?page_id=493. But the Chrons list probably has all the same ones and more on it. |

Not sure what was happening before though..... However, as much as I hate to admit it- I really like it here - their page has about fifteen more agents than the one here, perhaps the one on chrons might need an update? peace Jx

Hence our list is smaller - because those are the agents who actively invite submissions from unpublished writers in the sf/f genres.

| Re: UK Agents for sf/f I personally checked with most of these agencies whether they would consider SF/F submissions. Those that are listed said they would, they made no mention of not considering manuscripts from unknown authors. |

My own research at the time found general agencies had little interest in sff genre fiction unless it was taking on an established name (especially from overseas markets), but otherwise would leave their door open for The Next Big Thing, just in case. The agencies on the chrons list are those who actively solicit sff manuscripts, and are therefore genuinely interested in representing the sff genres - at the time it was written. I'm sure it's old now and should be revised - but the best way to determine how interested an agency is in the sff genres is to check the client lists for newer UK sff authors. Lack of presence suggests lack of interest.
