The Hobbit - Peter Jackson blogs from the set

I haven't been paying much attention to The Hobbit movie, although I loved LotR, but I came across this on a blog and it got me pretty excited! IT'S REAL!

Peter Jackson seems like a bit of a cool dude.

Awesome. Thanks for the link. Seeing the familiar sets and listening to the theme music makes it all seem more real. They're actually filming it!

I wanted to see an actor dressed up as a dwarf... Can't wait for this!

I think you see the back of one, he's all in costume and discussing with PJ how it would be cool to just spin on the spot with his sword and whack the heads of a bunch of Goblins.

I'm so looking forward to this..... me and the wife went to the Hobbiton set about 6 weeks ago with the intention of going in but the price ($70 per head) was, to put it mildly, over the top.
Though I think they've built it more permanently so as to keep the set going once filming stops, the price will hopefully drop a few years after the movies are over.
