And the girl... the Queen of Love and Beauty... the girl who took Howland's cause as her own... the girl who physically protected the smaller Howland, just like Meera protects the smaller Jojen...

Are you trying to tell me that Meera... is actually Lyanna Stark?!?!

Warging is not unknown to Starks. Warging (or understanding dragons) is not unknown to Targaryens. Is this how Lyanna and Rhaegar understood each other?
Isn't it quite possible then that Jojen is Benjen. The brother and sister protector thing fits. Howland could easily be the 3 eyed crow. Cold hands could be non important or some oddball character.

Imp, let me start off by saying that I love this theory. I do not think it's correct, but I love it.

However, it made me think of something. What if the Crannogmen are not reincarnations of the Children of the Forest or something, but rather halfbreeds? It's obvious that they are far closer to nature than others. Perhaps they interbred and the Crannogmen are the last remainders?

Also, I do not think that we should take "little grandfather" at anything more than face value.

Syphon, long time, no see. You've summed up how I feel about all theories that I don't agree with.... I still love 'em.

I kinda like but but...

How about they aren't crannogmen but in fact children of the forest pretending to be Howland's get? Only the Crannogs are small enough to pass as Children so they pose as Reeds to get close to Bran and whisk him away North, little Grandfather could be homage to the gods?

In other news, I believe Tyrion is the reincarnation of Baelor the Blessed. He just doesn't want to be known as the boring "Tyrion the Blessed" so he's just whoring it up!
