I've read almost all Weber's stuff, but I'm with you the alternative history stuff just hasn't turned my crank enough to even give them a go. The Multiverse stuff I like, but not nearly so much as the "Honorverse" or the "Safehold" series. For me the Honor Harrington books are without peer among Weber's stuff.

I find alternative history pretty entertaining, S.M. Stirling is probably my second favorite but I am a huge fan of the 1632 stuff by Flint including eagerly awaiting every episode of the Grantville Gazette to help tide me over between full books but I totally agree that the Honor Harrington books are Weber's best stuff.
