They're much better than swords. You can keep your sword and I'll get a lightsabre.

Re: Light Saber Battles

Good videos C Of K, I like the look of "Duality" and how the tale ended. "Art of Saber" was awesome with it's choreography, I like the letter reading at the beginning, I remember hearing that original Civil War message from a soldier to his wife before, very moving and heartfelt.

Re: Light Saber Battles

Thanks, Starbeast. All the videos here are great, many of which I have never seen before you made this thread. This one, like your comic book covers thread, is a winner. These videos seem like they would be fun to make.

The American Civil War, is without a doubt, in my mind, the most interesting war America has ever been involved with. There are a lot of journals, written by the people involved that are extremely deep. Many of them reflect the respect that they had for the other side

Your welcome and thank you C Of K for the compliments, I try to make the threads I create interesting and fun. AND, there are a lot of very creative people out there who I thank for sharing their videos.

It was indeed an incredible time, so many people lost their lives on both sides, a very sad chapter for North America.

Cool pics, Starbeast! and the gif as well. I guess even little ones can embrace the darkside.

I'll try not to turn this into the civil war thread, but I just couldn't resist adding this little video. I think there was a lot of this kind of thing going on after the civil war, people from both sides becoming the best of friends.

Who Wants To Fight?

Finally finished this...sort of. I went 48 hours without food, water, or sleep, and when it was all said and done, After Effects decided upon exporting that the last few seconds just weren't worth showing, so all you get is a bright red screen

Anyway, I am officially an internet nerd now, and you can see how officially evil and nerdy I can be. The upload to youtube also murdered the quality of this video. I was able to tweak it with their weak video enhancements a little, but still, I am very disappointed in how that turned out It doesn't reflect what the original video on my desktop looks like very well.

That was very cool. The you tube quality did not really detract from that, C of K. Nice twirling of those blades, too. So was that an outfit you put together for the video or would we be able to spot you in a non-comic-con-crowd? Very regal indeed! I like it all and look forward to more, hopefully!

Oh yeah, by the way, great videos you posted (inc. the civil war one). Duality is one of my favorites; love the clip at the very end after the credits.

Thanks, Huttman. It's always fulfilling to be appreciated Am glad the quality isn't too horrendous. Two blades is always much harder than one. My left hand stinks, so the right does all the work. Lol. I may do another video like this if I have good enough ideas for one. I did consider demonstrating a force choke, but there aren't very many forthcoming volunteers who might assist me. As for the outfit, I can appear in almost anything from day to day, but one thing is consistent. I'm always in search of a good sparring partner...

I always thought Duality was great. They definitely have my sense of humor, and the choreography and effects were fantastic. I find the civil War era to be one of the most interesting in American history. There was so much going on, and so many famous people involved. Too many to name here. Glory was a great movie, but the two movies, Gettysburg, and Gods and Generals were just fantastic. I recommend them with five stars.
